The Story
A little luck for you, a little luck for everyone else.
This original work by Ashley Dalton leans into an old superstition. Traditionally, a horseshoe hung upright is said to hold luck in, keeping it safe and close. Turn it downward, and that luck is meant to pour out, shared generously with anyone who passes by. "Lucky You, Lucky Me on Mauve" brings both together in one stunning arrangement, mixing upward and downward horseshoes in oil paint and oil pastel, with hand embroidered thread on linen.
Framed in a solid oak floater frame.
Each work by Ashley Dalton comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
About the artist
Ashley Dalton is a native Texan and multi-disciplinary artist based in the Texas Hill Country. Working primarily in painting with elements of embroidery, she draws inspiration from her ancestry, cultural roots, and the familiar spirit of the American West. A former interior designer and mother of five, Ashley returned to her lifelong passion of painting after the birth of her 5th child (and only daughter), embracing it as both a calling and a grounding force. Her work blends memory and heritage with a sense of playfulness, creating layered compositions that reflect both where she comes from and who she is today.
