Based in Dallas, BK’s pieces play with the idea of being “Americanized” — blending nostalgic nods to Hollywood glamour, 1950s pop culture, sports, and classic American icons like cowboys and Indians. She enjoys creating playful color concepts and adding graphic touches through the use of paint and found materials — from vintage papers and photos, to florals and paint chips — hoping to give each piece a refreshing modern twist on midcentury Americana.
